Common questions.
- How long does a typical edit take?
- Copyediting runs 7โ14 days, line editing 2โ4 weeks and developmental editing 3โ6 weeks. We lock in the schedule before we begin.
- Will the editor rewrite my book?
- Never. We edit to protect your voice โ comments come first, and changes are made only where they're clearly needed.
- Can I work with the same editor on my next book?
- Absolutely โ plenty of authors come back to the same editor.
