1. What we collect

If you reach out to us, create an account, ask for a quote, or grab one of our guides, we record the following: your name, email address, an optional phone number, and whatever you decide to tell us about your book or publishing goals.

As you browse the site, we gather anonymised activity data — things like pages viewed, where you arrived from, and your device category — using analytics built with privacy in mind. No third-party advertising cookies are involved.

2. Why we collect it

So we can reply to your message, deliver our services, handle payments, occasionally send a newsletter or guide when you've chosen to receive them, and meet the legal duties that apply to us as a business serving authors internationally.

3. Who we share it with

Information is passed only to the partners who help us serve you — such as a payment processor at checkout, or the editorial specialists assigned to your manuscript. Each of these partners is bound by contract to handle your data solely for the work they perform on our behalf.

We never sell your information to advertisers, data brokers, or anyone else.

4. How long we keep it

Enquiry and project records: kept for as long as we're working together, plus seven years afterwards to satisfy tax and accounting requirements.

Newsletter subscribers: retained until you choose to opt out.

Manuscripts: held under encryption while your project is live, then removed from our active systems within 90 days of completion — and you can ask us to erase them sooner at any point.

5. Your rights

At any time you may request a copy of the personal data we hold, ask us to fix anything that's wrong, or ask us to erase it entirely. Just email info@launchpadbooks.com from the address we already have on record, and we'll carry it out within 30 days.
